FAQ: What if my concrete turns brown after applying Wet & Forget?

17 September 2010 No Comment

This is one question we get a few times each month, so we thought it’d be a good idea to address it on the blog!

Q: I just applied Wet & Forget. Why is it turning my concrete brown?

A: Browning can occur anywhere in the US, but it’s most common in climates like Florida or elsewhere in the Southeastern United States. Wet & Forget interacts with the growth and turns it an orange-brown color temporarily. Once the rain hits the area a couple times, the brown dissipates and the Wet & Forget removes the moss, mold and mildew. The color change indicates you’re getting a good reaction between the WF and the growth on the concrete.

If you have mold or moss on your concrete (or any other outdoor surface), Wet & Forget can remove it with little effort on your part. To try it out for yourself, visit our store locator today!
