My problem is in flower beds. I take it from your videos that your product cannot be used because it will inevitably land on plants. Plants that are close together. Am I incorrect?
Hi Richard,
Thanks for writing in with your question. Wet & Forget is designed for use on outdoor surfaces where you have moss, mold and mildew. We do not recommend using it for turf or flowerbed applications, as it is not formulated for use on plants and vegetation.

Looks like a great product. Is the fall the only time you can apply Wet & Forget? It is winter here in Michigan, USA-no snow yet and mild temps but will snow soon. Can this be applied in the spring?
Hi Grace,
Thanks for sending in your question! Yes, you can apply Wet & Forget at any temperature above 32 degrees. Basically, it just needs to be above 32 when you apply it and while it dries. Drying time takes at the longest 4 to 5 hours. After that, if temps dip below 32 degrees, you will be fine. If you have a few warmer afternoons left this winter you can apply, or wait until it warms up in the spring and apply then.

Hello:
My house needs a wash at Spring.
Roof asphalt shingles: I will apply Wet & Forget and let it dry in order to get rid of alguaes and moss.
White wood siding: i am planning to power wash to remove the dirt; should I apply Wet & Forget after power washing for a better result and mold growth prevention? please advise thanks
Hi Charles,
Thanks for writing in! Yes, you can apply the Wet & Forget after power washing the dirt off of the surface. The Wet & Forget will clean up any mold and mildew that the power washer did not clean off the surface. On average, most people find they do not need to re-apply Wet & Forget for at least 12 to 18 months. If you have any further questions, please let us know.

I don’t have a sprayer and do have stepping stones in my garden along with a small deck on my second floor which are covered in mildew and moss. Could I “paint” the solution on with a sponge or foam type paint brush so that there is no dripping to the plants below or spray on the plants surrounding the stones?
Hi Ginger,
Thanks for writing in with your question. The best way to apply Wet & Forget is with a pump up garden sprayer. The sprayer application ensures that you get a good coverage of the product on your stepping stones and deck area. Even though it is not the best way to apply, you could paint it on with a brush or roller. Be sure to dilute the product properly: 1 part Wet & Forget to 5 parts water. Also, make sure you get a good coverage and saturation on the areas you are treating.

I installed a deck last winter made of “trex” material. To my dismay, mold started accumulating almost immediately. By the end of 6 months I had a leopard-skin effect all over the floor of the deck. I power washed it and now it’s even worse. So much for “no maintenance”.
Can Wet & Forget be used on this material? Does it seal against future mold growth or does it just clean?
Approximately how long does it take to work and may I apply another coat within a few weeks or should I just wait longer?
Hi Lynn,
Thanks for contacting us with your question. Yes, you can use Wet & Forget on any brand of decking, including Trex. Wet & Forget will work on moss, mold, or mildew you have on the surface. Just dilute and apply with your pump up garden sprayer. No rinsing, no scrubbing. Wet & Forget works with the rain over time to clean off moss, mold and mildew. The cleaning time can take 3 weeks to 3 months, depending on the type of growth you have on the deck. The great thing is, once it cleans up, you will not have to apply your second application for 12-18 months. Wet & Forget cleans the surface properly, which means it lasts longer than most traditional cleaning products. If you have any further questions, let us know!

I want to apply wet and forget to the bottom of my boat to remove algae and slime, how long do i have to wait before i can hose the boat off ?
We recommend covering your plants or rinsing them with clear water before and after you apply the Wet & Forget. That way, they will be protected from any overspray during your application of Wet & Forget. Wet & Forget will not leach into the soil where you are applying the Wet & Forget.

Hi Mike!
Just apply Wet & Forget and then let it dry completely. Once it’s completely dry you can hose the boat off or put it back in the water.
