Can this be used on stucco?
Jimmie,
Thanks for writing in! Wet & Forget can indeed be used on stucco. Just make sure to spray the product with the correct dilution rate onto an outdoor surface that’s exposed to rain. The rain is what makes Wet & Forget work. To find it at a nearby store, visit our store locator by clicking here.
can you use wet and forget on boat seats???????
Hi Carol,
Thanks for your inquiry! Yes, you can use Wet & Forget on the boat seats of your boat. Wet & Forget is safe to use on any outdoor surface where you have moss, mold, mildew or algae problems. It works with the wind and rain to gently clean the surface. Per our labeling, Wet & Forget is not to be used within 100 feet of lakes, rivers, streams or ponds. We would recommend spraying the boat seats while the boat is out of the water. If you have any further questions, please let us know. Thank you!
Will the product harm the paint on an RV’s sides when spraying the roof of the RV?
Can I use it on a mildewy roof – asphalt shingles?
Hi Theresa,
Thanks for your inquiry! Wet & Forget is safe to use on any outdoor surface where you have moss, mold, mildew or algae problems. This includes asphalt shingles. It works with the wind and rain to gently clean the surface. Make sure you follow the directions on the label and use the correct dilution rate. If you have any other questions, let us know. Thank you!
Hi Bill,
Thanks for your inquiry. Wet & Forget Moss, Mold, Mildew & Algae Stain Remover is safe to use on all parts of an RV, including the rubber roofing, sides, etc. The only part we recommend covering when applying the Wet & Forget are any decals you may have on the side of the RV. Wet & Forget may discolor or spot those decal surfaces. If you have any further questions or concerns, please let us know. Thank you!
We have extensive mildew under our eaves and the ceilings of our covered decks. Will your product work for this and, if so, how can it be applied safely?
Thank you.
Hi Gus,
Thanks for your inquiry. Wet & Forget is specifically formulated to work with the wind and rain on uncovered outdoor surfaces. In your situation, where the areas you need to clean are not exposed to the rain, Wet & Forget will require some assistance.
Dilute the product as directed, 1 part Wet & Forget to 5 parts water. Apply the Wet & Forget. If you are spraying above your head, be sure to wear protective eyewear to avoid overspray and follow the directions on the bottle. Also, protect any plants in the area from overspray. Do not rinse the product off after application. Let it dry for a week. Then spray the treated areas with water once every week for 3-4 weeks.
This will simulate the rainfall needed to make the product work. You can use a garden hose or pump up sprayer to apply the water. You do not need to use a pressure washer. Wet & Forget is a gentle product and takes time to work. If you have any further questions, please let us know. Thanks!
How can Wet & Forget be applied to a very high and steep roof? I own a two story Georgian House with a 12/12 pitch on the roof.
How careful do I have to be on not getting wet and forget on trees and plants?
Hi Bob,
Thanks for your inquiry! Wet & Forget is formulated to be applied with a pump up sprayer due to the 5:1 dilution rate. For areas where walking on the surface and using a pump up sprayer are not ideal, you can rent a backpack sprayer from your local hardware store. This may help you reach higher areas.
Large commercial buildings are treated using an agricultural sprayer with a diaphragm pump system similar to what is used in the landscaping business. You can use any type of sprayer that is not connected to a hose or incoming water source. Here is an article on sprayers if you would like to read more:
All About Sprayers
Debbie,
Thanks for writing in! When applying Wet & Forget to the surface, the runoff into surrounding soil will not harm plants. However, when you are spraying Wet & Forget we recommend to protect your nearby plants/grass from overspray by rinsing them down before and after you apply the Wet & Forget with water. You can also cover nearby plants during the Wet & Forget application to protect them from overspray. If you have any further questions or concerns, please let us know. Thanks!
I enjoyed your “Before” video. I would like to see an “After” video…lets say after 6 months what will the area we saw on the video look like? Thank you
We have moss on our asphalt shingle roof. Our gutters take rain water run off directly down to our salt water beach and clam bed. Is wet and forget safe to our beach?
How long should I wait after applying Wet and Forget before reapply stain to my cedar deck? What procedures should I use in the process? Thanks for your help!!
Hi Ken,
Thanks for writing in! You can stain your deck as soon as Wet & Forget has removed the moss, mold, mildew, and algae from the surface. Wet & Forget is a gentle product that works with the outside elements (rain/wind) to clean your surface. You can assist the process if you are not getting any rain, by using a hose with a jet nozzle or a very light pressure wash to expedite the process after a couple of weeks. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns. Thank you!
Hi Carolyn,
Thank you for writing in. Wet & Forget is an EPA-registered product. Per our labeling the application of Wet & Forget must be performed at least 100 feet from any pond, lake, stream, or river to prevent possible runoff into waterways. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Thank you!
Loretta,
Thanks for writing in, and I’m glad you enjoyed the application video! We filmed it on a man named Marc’s deck. He does not have any “After” photos or video, but I asked him about his deck’s status, and this is what he said:
“The deck needed to be re-stained and Wet & Forget did a superb job of cleaning and prepping the surface. I put the stain on earlier this spring and there’s no bleed-though of the mildew or algae at all. I’m very happy; the Wet & Forget did an awesome job on the deck.”
What about roofs…..
About how many square feet will a gallon cover/treat? It seems from what I have read so far in a couple of question there has been no answer why is that? I have about a 1600 square foot roof.
Is there one product for roof moss and one for alge?
Why no videos on roof moss? I did see a video that was using one for moss on roofs.
Ed,
Thanks for the inquiry! The coverage of Wet & Forget depends on the porosity of the surface. Porous surfaces will absorb more of the product while painted surfaces use less. In general, 1 gallon (128 oz.) of Wet & Forget will cover about 750-2,250 sq. ft. If you have any other questions or concerns, please let us know. Thanks!
Hi Ed,
Thanks for your inquiry! Wet & Forget works on moss, mold, mildew, algae and their stains. Wet & Forget will work for both your roof moss and roof algae. Let us know if you have any more questions. Thanks!
Ed,
Wet & Forget can be used on any outdoor surface where you have moss, mold, mildew or algae including all types of roofing. We do not have a video on our website at this time showing roof moss, however, Wet & Forget can be used for moss on your roof. If you have any further questions, please let us know. Thanks!
I tried so many products to rid my roof of moss with no results. My wife found Wet & Forget at Cosco and asked me to try it. I used it and had remarkable results. It killed the moss on my roof so well that I used it on the mold stains on my deck, again, fabulous results. I would highly recommend it to everyone.
Thanks for the kind words, Rich!
I have rust stains from sprinkler spray on my old brick home. Will this product take care of it?
Hi Carol,
Thanks for your inquiry! Wet & Forget is specifically formulated to work on organic growths such as moss, mold, mildew or algae. It will not work on rust or hard water stains. If you have any further questions, please let us know.
As you mention, in the event of application on dog’s paw and/or playground equipment, washing is in order. I understand your point. As I am going to use it on my concrete pool decking I am wondering how long should I avoid wet barefoot traffic. Or might it be better to wait until early autumn. Product results look fantastic on promo material. I am looking forward to similar results as this appears to be much easier than pressure washing.
Can I use to on teak wood outdoor furniture and/or ipe wood decking? Thanks.
Hi Patrick,
Thanks for your inquiry. Wet & Forget can be used on pool surround areas. We would recommend keeping people and pets off of the area while you apply Wet & Forget and until it dries. Drying time usually takes 4-5 hours, depending on the humidity in your area. After the product has dried, people and pets can be on the surface without any issues.
Wet & Forget is safe to use on any type of decking whether it is a composite or wood deck. It is a pH 8 product, meaning it is gentle enough to use on any outdoor surfaces where you have issues with moss, mold or mildew.
When applying Wet & Forget to lawn furniture, keep people and pets off the surface during application and overnight. The next day, before the furniture is used, rinse it down with water. After that, you are set to go! If you have any further questions or concerns, please let us know.
Can wet and forget be used on acrylic surfaces? For instance, hot tub surfaces?
Hi Sally,
Thanks for writing in! Wet & Forget can be used on any outdoor surface where you have issues with moss, mold or mildew, including acrylic surfaces. If the areas you are treating are near a pool or hot tub, we recommend keeping people and pets off the surfaces while applying Wet & Forget and during the dry time (4-5 hours). After that, people and pets can be on the surfaces with no issues. If you have any further questions or concerns, please let us know. Thank you!
Will Wet and Forget harm our birds if they land on the deck when it’s wet?
I thank you in advance!
Ken
Hi Kenneth,
Thank you for writing in! We recommend keeping pets off of the surface during the time that it takes for Wet & Forget to dry, to ensure they don’t lick the product from their paws. Once the surface is dry, pets are free to walk on the surface that was sprayed with Wet & Forget. Birds are ok on the surface.
Allow 4-5 hours for drying time. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you!
I have a screened in pool enclosure. Can this be used on the screening and do both sides need to have an application?
Hi Ron,
Thank you for writing in! Yes, you can use Wet & Forget on your pool screen. When applying the Wet & Forget make sure that you get even coverage on the screen. The application to the one side of the screen would also hit the other side of the screen, so you would not need to apply to both sides. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks!
Can it be used with dryvit exterior finish?
Hi Lamar,
Thanks for your inquiry. Yes, you can use Wet & Forget on any type of synthetic stucco including dryvit. It is a gentle product with a pH of 8, so it will not damage the surface. If you have any further questions or concerns, please let us know. Thanks!
Hi! My fence is made of pvc and is cedar colored. In the past 5 years the sunny side has turned white. I have tried many products and much elbow grease. Can this product help? I can scrape off this white residue with my fingernail, and underneath is the cedar color, pristine. Of course, that’s not how I envision cleaning my fence! Thanks!
Hi Lucille,
Thanks for your inquiry. Wet & Forget is designed to remove organic growths such as moss, mold, mildew or algae. These growths are usually green or black in color when they appear on a surface. Wet & Forget will not work on rust, UV exposure, calcium deposits, etc. From what you are describing, it does not sound like what you have on the fence is a growth. If you have any further questions or concerns, please let us know. Thank you!
Can Wet & Forget be used on ceramic bath tiles in a shower in the bathroom?
Charlie,
Wet & Forget is not labeled for indoor use – it relies on contact with the wind and rain in order to work. Thanks for submitting your question!
Gentlemen: I have read all the comments; both questions and answers and while I have been using Wet&Forget for several years now and am most happy w/the product, I have one job I need to do and was wondering if Wet&Forget mite do the work. My Florida home has white aluminum gutters all around and they have been up for about seven years and of course, are not as white as were when new. The discoloration is not moss, mildew or algae, just plain age and dirt. Have tried Krud Kutter as well as other products but no work. In fact went thru finish in one area. Will W&F help out this situation or do I just rent a tall ladder and paint? Many thanks
Sincerely
Jim Kaiser
Hi Jim,
Thanks for contacting us with your question. As you already know, Wet & Forget can be used for many different outdoor applications where you have moss, mold, mildew & algae problems. However, it will not work on general dirt and grime. If what you have on the aluminum gutters is not an organic growth (moss, mold, mildew, algae or lichen) Wet & Forget will not work for you in this situation. If you have any further questions or concerns, please let us know. Thank you!
If I spray the screen around and over my pool, what precautions should be taken (if any) to keep the product out of the pool?
Hi Russ,
Thanks for writing in with your question. You can use Wet & Forget Moss, Mold, Mildew & Algae Stain Remover on pool surrounds and screens. We recommend you keep people and pets out of the area while you apply the Wet & Forget and during the drying time (4-5 hours after application). Once the Wet & Forget has dried, people and pets can use the pool area. Wet & Forget will not affect the pH of the pool water. Here is a link to a blog article on using Wet & Forget around pools if you would like to read more: Is Wet & Forget safe around the pool?
If you have any further questions, please let us know. Thank you!
Can I use W&F on an artificial turf putting green? Will it cause a discoloring of the turf?
Hi Dick,
Thanks for writing in with your question. Yes, you can use Wet & Forget on the artificial turf of your putting green. Wet & Forget will not discolor or harm the surface since it is a gentle product with a pH of 8. If you have any further questions or concerns, please let us know.

can you apply it while it’s raining & on water soaked outdoor astro turf-deck
Hi Sue,
Thanks for contacting us with your question. Wet & Forget needs to be applied to a dry surface. It also needs 4-5 hours of drying time before it comes into contact with rainfall. This ensures that the Wet & Forget product gets an even coverage on the surface it is applied to. We would not recommend applying Wet & Forget to a wet surface or while it is raining. If you have any further questions or concerns, please let us know.
Thank you!
Hi There,
I am wondering if I could use Wet and Forget in my basement. I can ventilate to the outside if needed. I also have cinder block walls and can easily rinse down the walls once a week which is no problem. I have large black spots on four walls.
Thanks, Jack
Hi Jack,
Thanks for writing in with your question. Wet & Forget is registered for outdoor use only. The product is specifically formulated to work with the outdoor elements to clean moss, mold, mildew and algae. We would not recommend using Wet & Forget indoors. If you have any further questions, please let us know.
Will it work on a paving brick sidewalk that has whitish stains due to the use of de-icing salts last winter?
Hi George,
Thanks for contacting us with your question. Wet & Forget is designed to remove organic growths only: moss, mold, mildew, algae and lichen. It will not work on the salt stains you have on your brick pavers. If you have any further questions, let us know. Thanks!
Thank you!
I am a beekeeper. Because of the humidity, many hive parts become moldy, especially while in storage. Is it safe to use on bee equipment?
Hi Dale,
Thanks for contacting us with your question. Wet & Forget does not act as an insecticide. However, bees are sensitive creatures and in this case we would recommend to err on the side of caution and not use Wet & Forget Moss, Mold, Mildew & Algae Stain Remover on your bee equipment or hives. If you have any further questions or concerns, please let us know. Thanks!

Wet & Forget is a gentle product that works with the wind and rain over time to clean up any outdoor surface. If you have any further questions or concerns, please let us know.
Hi Janis,
Thanks for contacting us with your question. One gallon of Wet & Forget will cover 750 to 2,250 square feet once it is diluted. The coverage will depend on the porosity of the surface. If you are applying to a brick or concrete surface which is very porous, you can expect it to cover closer to the 750 square feet. If you are applying to a vinyl surface, which is less porous and will not soak up as much of the product, you can expect coverage closer to the 2,250 square feet. If you have additional questions, let us know.

Wet & Forget is a gentle product that works with the wind and rain to clean outdoor surfaces over time. If you have any further questions or concerns, please let us know. Thank you!
Hi Luke
I have coralstone bands around my windows and doors, can I use Wet & Forget on this surface?
Also if Wet & Forget can indeed be safely applied without any negative affects, can a sealer be placed over the Wet & Forget?
We have a brick patio that is not sealed. Can I use your product on it to get rid of mold/moss stains?
Hi
How long after application does one have to wait to apply say a coat of paint.
Hi Robert,
Thanks for contacting us with your question. As soon as the Wet & Forget has cleaned up the mold and mildew you can go ahead and paint, stain or seal the area. It is important to make sure the Wet & Forget has cleaned up with growths, so that you do not paint in, stain in or seal in the mold and mildew. Wet & Forget will not interact with or harm the new paint, stain or seal that you are applying to the surface. If you have any further questions or concerns, please let us know.
Thanks!
Hi Janice,

Hi Robert,

Can your Wet and Forget product be used on hardi-plank siding?
Hi Reuben,
Thanks for contacting us with your question. Yes, you can use Wet & Forget on any type of siding, including Hardi-plank. Our brick patio is small. Can I use a watering can to apply Wet and Forget?
Hi, Wet and Forget sounds great and can be used on so many surfaces. However, I have not seen canvas or sunbrella awnings addressed. Can I use this on my awning to get rid of mold or mildew? Thanks for your reply!
Hi Rita,
Thanks for contacting us with your question. Yes, you can use We & Forget on canvas and Sunbrella materials. Wet & Forget is a gentle cleaning process that works with the wind and rain to clean moss, mold, and mildew from outdoor surfaces. The product has a pH of 8, which means it will not harm delicate outdoor surfaces such as Sunbrellas, canvas, and awnings. Make sure you can leave your canvas or Sunbrella surfaces open and exposed to the rain after you apply Wet & Forget, so the surface can be cleaned properly. If you have any further questions or concerns, please let us know.
Hi Janice,
Thanks for contacting us with your question. Wet & Forget is specifically designed for and best applied with a pump up garden sprayer. Pump up garden sprayers come as small as 1 gallon in size and would work well for your patio area. Since Wet & Forget has an unlimited shelf life, you can store any unused product right in your sprayer. That way it will be mixed and ready in case you spot other moldy outdoor areas you need to treat. If you have any further questions or concerns, please let us know.
Will this work on a Car’s Convertible top? I have a white top and there are black mildew or tree sap spots along with dark grime/dirt areas.
Hi Charlie,
Thanks for contacting us with your question. Wet & Forget is a gentle product with a pH of 8, so you can apply to your car’s convertible top and it will not harm the surface. If the black spots on your convertible top are mildew, Wet & Forget can clean it up for you. If the stains are not from organic growths but rather tree sap, dirt or grim, Wet & Forget will not be able to help. If you have any further questions or concerns, please let us know.
The W&F label mentions “assistance may be required” if the surface is not exposed to rainfall. We live in N. California and summers are usually dry-no rainfall. I’m ready to apply W&F-do I “assist” with a garden hose? How often? Is evening better-no direct sun and slower drying time?
Thank you.
Can your Wet and Forget be applied with gardern hose spayer? and if yes at what rate?
Hi Larry,
Thanks for contacting us with your question. To apply Wet & Forget, you need to use a pump up garden sprayer. Wet & Forget needs to be diluted at a rate of 5 parts Wet & Forget to 1 part water. A hose end sprayer would not be able to accommodate a 5:1 dilution rate, as hose end sprayers are designed to do a 10:1 or 20:1 dilution rate. If you used a hose end sprayer, you would not be applying enough Wet & Forget product on the surface. Let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.
Hi Janice,
Thanks for contacting us with your question. If you are located in an area that is not going to receive rain for several months, you will need to assist the product by watering down the areas you apply Wet & Forget to once a week or once every two weeks. This will simulate the natural rainfall process and help the product clean off the moss and mold. You can start these waterings a couple days after applying Wet & Forget to the surface.
We recommend applying Wet & Forget to a dry surface and applying in the morning or evening if possible, not during the heat of the day. That way the Wet & Forget will remain on the surface longer before it dries.
In the future, you can apply Wet & Forget to moldy areas in the late fall. That way, the rainy fall and winter months will help the product work and you will not need the extra assistance. If you have any further questions, let us know.
I have a climbing Hydrangea that has been growing on my deck and the plant curls around the wood to stay in place. At this time of year the moldy smell does linger on my deck and I’m not sure if your product is safe enough to use so I don’t damage the climbing Hydrangea. I suspect that it could be
safe enough to use but that I would have do some light scrubbing on my own as direct rain hitting these areas is hard to come by ( I suppose I could hose these areas and see, though). Can I use this around my Hydrangea safely without any damage?
Hi Steve,
Thanks for contacting us with your question. Yes, you can use Wet & Forget on your wooden deck. We recommend protecting all plants from overspray by covering them during application or rinsing before and after with clear water. You could also apply the Wet & Forget to the area covered by the hydrangea in the early spring before the hydrangea is climbing the wooden portions. If you are applying Wet & Forget to areas of the deck that do not come in direct contact with rain you will need to hose the areas down wither water every week or two weeks to simulate natural rainfall. If you have any further questions or concerns, please let us know. Thank you!
How does Wet & Forget affect cedar siding?
Why must Wet & Forget not to be used within 100 feet of lakes, rivers, streams or ponds? Does it damage these bodies of water or kill the fish? If so, how? Please explain. My stucco house is 50-80 feet from the shore of a 300 acre lake. Does this mean that I can’t use your product to clean the stucco?
Hi DaddyFlo,
Thanks for contacting us with your question. Wet & Forget is an EPA registered product and per our labeling, we recommend not using Wet & Forget within 100 feet of ponds, lakes, streams or rivers. Since your house is located only 50 to 80 feet from your lake, we would not recommend using Wet & Forget to clean the moss, mold and mildew from your stucco surface.
Hi Sara,
Thanks for contacting us with your question. Yes, you can use Wet & Forget to clean moss, mold and mildew from cedar shake shingles. Wet & Forget has a pH of 8 and works gently over time with the wind and rain to clean moss, mold and mildew from outdoor surfaces. If you have any further questions or concerns, please let us know.
I cleaned the moss from between my brick pavers on my patio, with a pressure washer, which left the gaps between them empty. Then applied Wet and Forget, how long should I wait till I refill the gaps with crushed limestone? Does the limestone runoff interfere with the Wet and Forget?
Hi Kathy,
Thanks for contacting us with your question. As soon as the brick pavers look clean (moss has been cleaned off), you can go ahead and fill the gaps with crushed limestone. Wet & Forget will not interfere with additional products or materials that you apply to the brick pavers. However, we always recommend waiting until the moss and mold is gone and Wet & Forget has cleaned the moss and mold off of the surface before applying other products/materials on top of the treated surface. If you have any further questions or concerns, please let us know. Thank you!
We just want to brighten our wood deck. We stained it cedar color last fall (which should last another year) and it now has green moss on it. Will Wet & Forget only remove the moss or does it also lighten the stain color that I am trying to keep?
Hi Kim,
Thanks for contacting us with your question. Wet & Forget will clean off moss, mold, mildew and algae from your deck. It is designed to work on organic growths only. It will not be able to lighten the color or work on the graying effects from UV exposure. If you have any further questions or concerns, please let us know. Thank you!
I was wondering if Wet & Forget will help remove lichen growth on my vinyl siding?
Hi Charles,
Thanks for contacting us with your question. Yes, you can use Wet & Forget on lichen. The application instructions are a little bit different. We recommend applying the Wet & Forget to the lichen, waiting 15 minutes, then applying it again. To read more about applying Wet & Forget to lichen, click here. You can also click here to watch our video demonstration of how to apply Wet & Forget to lichen. If you have any further questions or concerns, please let us know.
I have high areas to apply. Will wet & forget it harm a pressure washer if so used??????? to apply.
Hi Angie,
Thanks for contacting us with your question. Wet & Forget is a gentle product with a pH of 8, it will not harm any sprayer or pressure washer components. In fact, you can store Wet & Forget already mixed in your garden sprayers indefinitely, as it has an unlimited shelf life.
Remember, the dilution rate to apply the product is 1 part Wet & Forget to 5 parts water. This means you will need to check that your pressure washer can accommodate this dilution. You may need to mix the Wet & Forget beforehand in a container and pull the solution directly through the pressure washer if your soap dispenser cannot accommodate a 5:1 dilution rate. If you have further questions, please let us know.
We have a lot of moss on our red lava rock that surrounds our bushes. Will Wet & Forget remove moss off of our red lava rock? And will the Wet & Forget go down into the ground into the roots of our bushes and harm them?
Thanks – Deb
Hi Deb,
Thanks for writing in with your question. Yes, you can use Wet & Forget on lava rock. Wet & Forget will not affect the soil. We recommend protecting all foliage on your plants from overspray by covering them during the Wet & Forget application. If you have any further questions, let us know.
Thanks for answering my question about using Wet & Forget on our red lava rocks. Now, since we have a pretty small area of moss to treat can we use a plastic spray bottle?
I have a boat on a lift that is under a canopy and since we have gotten so much rain here, the boat is full of mold/mildew. What is the best way to treat it. We are located in an area with a lot of trees, so the boat does not get much sun even when I put the boat down and the canopy up.
Hi Deb,
Thanks for writing in. The best sprayer to use is pump up garden sprayer. For very small areas, you can also use a clean 32 oz trigger spray bottle, as long as you dilute it properly: one part Wet & Forget to 5 parts water. If you have any further questions or concerns, please let us know.
Hi Gloria, Thanks for writing in with your question. The best time to apply Wet & Forget to your boat is before the boating season or prior to a time you can leave it out and exposed to the rain. Wet & Forget works with the wind and rain in order to clean moss, mold, mildew and algae from outdoor surfaces. If you have any further questions, please let us know.

Will overspray or runoff from this product harm fish in a ornamental pond?
Thank you
Hi James,

Is Wet & Forget safe for our Old Chicago Brick. We are worried it may damage it or leave a noticible sealing film.
Hi Rick! Yes, Wet & Forget is safe for Old Chicago Brick.
Hello Rina!
There are several different approaches to preventing the mold. Some people make Wet & Forget part of either their fall clean-up routine or their spring clean-up. Others prefer to just keep an eye out for re-growth and at the first sign they re-apply Wet & Forget. The reappearance of the mold depends upon your environment, if you live in a hot and humid area such as Florida you’ll most likely see the re-growth sooner than you would if you live in the Midwest where it’s a colder climate.
How long do I have to keep my dogs out of the back yard after applying wet & forget? It would be on the cement patio and dirt where they live.
Hi Sharon,
You only need to keep pets off the surface during the time it takes Wet & Forget to dry, which is between 4 and 5 hours. Once the drying time has elapsed, both people and pets are free to walk on the surface that was sprayed with Wet & Forget. It is also safe for people and pets to be on the treated surface after subsequent rainfalls. Thanks for commenting.
